A Melbourne custom home builder put a whole AI team to work — on the phone, on the website and in marketing.
- Australia
- Caroline Springs, Victoria
- With NeoMind since September 2026
The business
Providence Homes is a registered building practitioner based in Caroline Springs, Victoria, in Melbourne’s west. It builds custom homes, house-and-land packages, knock-down rebuilds and dual-occupancy homes, and carries out insurance rebuild works. It has worked with NeoMind since September 2026.
The problem
For a custom builder, the first conversation starts long before anyone books a meeting. Can you build on my block? How does a knock-down rebuild work? What does dual occupancy involve? Those questions arrive in the evening and at weekends, while the people who know the answers are on site or with clients. And they only arrive at all if people searching for a builder find the website in the first place.
What they deployed
Providence Homes runs two NeoMind teams on one Brain: the customer team, which answers the people who get in touch, and the Marketing Team, which works on being found.
The customer team: Simon and Maeve
Simon, NeoMind’s customer-facing AI teammate, answers enquiries on providencehomes.com.au. His answers are grounded in Providence Homes’ own services — custom homes, house-and-land, knock-down rebuilds, dual occupancy and insurance rebuild works — so what he tells a visitor comes from what the business actually offers. Maeve, NeoMind’s AI receptionist, answers the phone from the same knowledge.
The Marketing Team pilot: Theo, Sana and Wren
Providence Homes is also piloting NeoMind’s Marketing Team in its limited launch — the first customer story on this site to include it. Wren is connected to the company’s WordPress site through the NeoMind plugin. He reads what people actually searched to find each page, proposes headline changes, and tracks the page’s ranking before and after each change. Every change goes into a change ledger with undo.
Theo plans the month, and every Monday he reports which piece of work brought which enquiry. Sana completes the team, and the rule for her is the same as for every Marketing Team customer: Facebook and Instagram posts always wait for the owner’s approval.
Live today
- Simon answers enquiries on providencehomes.com.au, grounded in the company’s own services.
- Maeve answers the phone.
- Wren is connected to the WordPress site through the NeoMind plugin, proposing headline changes with each page’s ranking tracked before and after, and every change recorded in a ledger with undo.
- Theo plans the month and reports every Monday on which piece brought which enquiry.
Why it works
One Brain, trained on Providence Homes’ services, sits behind every teammate. What Simon says on the website, what Maeve says on the phone and what Wren proposes for a page all come from the same knowledge. And the marketing is held to account the way the enquiries are: every headline change is tracked before and after and can be undone, and every Monday Theo shows which work brought which enquiry.
This is a deployment story. Rankings are tracked before and after each change; before/after results are added once they’re cleared, never invented.
